Compliance
Clear rights. Clear responsibilities.
We believe recovery works best when everyone understands the rules. These disclosures describe how STATIC ENTERPRISES operates and the protections available to every consumer we contact.
Debt collector disclosure
STATIC ENTERPRISES is a debt collector. This is an attempt to collect a debt, and any information obtained will be used for that purpose.
This website is for informational purposes and is not a demand for payment.
Your rights under federal law
The Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) and the CFPB's Regulation F protect you from abusive, unfair, or deceptive collection practices.
Within five days of our first communication, you will receive a validation notice describing the debt, the creditor, the amount, and how to dispute it.
You may dispute all or part of the debt, or request the name and address of the original creditor, within the validation period stated in that notice. We will pause collection of disputed amounts until we provide verification.
You may ask us to stop contacting you, or to stop contacting you in a particular way, place, or time. We will honor these requests as required by law.
We do not contact consumers before 8 a.m. or after 9 p.m. local time, at work when we know it is not permitted, or discuss your debt with third parties except as the law allows.
Credit reporting
If we report information to a consumer reporting agency, we do so accurately and in accordance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), and we will not report a debt before communicating with you about it.
You may dispute inaccurate information directly with us or with the credit bureaus.
Time-barred debts
The law limits how long you can be sued on a debt. If a debt is beyond the statute of limitations, we will not sue you for it, and we will disclose this where required by state law.
Calls, texts, and email
We communicate in compliance with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and Regulation F. Electronic messages include a simple way to opt out.
Special circumstances
If you have filed for bankruptcy, are an active-duty servicemember, or are handling the account of someone who has passed away, please let us know — we'll make sure the account is handled with the care and sensitivity it deserves.
